Cheap Ticketing is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.
What we collect
- Contact details: name, email and phone number.
- Traveller details: names, dates of birth and passport information where airlines require it.
- Search and booking details, and technical data such as IP address and browser type.
Why we use it
- To provide quotes and make, manage and change bookings (performance of a contract).
- To meet legal obligations, such as airline passenger data and accounting.
- To send offers, but only if you have opted in. You can unsubscribe at any time.
Who we share it with
Airlines, trade consolidators and travel suppliers that fulfil your booking, payment providers, and IT service providers acting on our behalf. Some suppliers are outside the UK; where that happens we use appropriate safeguards.
How long we keep it
Booking records are kept for up to 7 years for legal and accounting reasons. Enquiries that do not become bookings are deleted after 2 years.
Your rights
You can ask to access, correct, delete or restrict your data, or object to processing. Email info@cheapticketing.co.uk. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).
